Mint Sweet Tea

Yield: 1/2 Gallon

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 8 cups of water

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves

  • 4 Tea bags of your favorite brand. (I used Lipton)

  • Mint leaves and lemon for garnish

  1. For the simple syrup you will need to bring 1 cup of mint, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of water to boil. Then lower to simmer for 5 minutes. I let the simple syrup chill and then strain.

  2. In a pitcher steep 4 tea bags in 4 cups boiling water for 5 minutes. Add the 3 remaining cups of cold water. Add your simple syrup and mix.

  3. Serve your sweet tea over ice

  4. Enjoy!

Tip: Create different flavored simple syrups and create a Iced Tea bar at your next event.

Happy Planning :),
