Ingredients
1 T of Old Bay
2 T of Spicy Creole Tony's Seasoning
1/2 T of Lemon Juice
1 cup of Flour
1 cup of Cornmeal
1 pound of Catfish Nuggets
1 T of Pepper
Canola Oil
Lemon for Garnish
Cajun Garlic Aioli
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 T lemon juice
dash of garlic powder
dash of onion powder
dash of smoked paprika
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Make sure your catfish is dry before seasoning. In a bowl, mix catfish with old bay, creole seasoning, and lemon.
In a separate bowl or plastic bag (I used a plastic bag) mix your flour, cornmeal, and pepper. (as much pepper as you like)
Place your seasoned catfish in your flour/cornmeal mix, making sure your pieces are completed covered.
Using a large saute pan, heat your oil. Tip: sprinkle a little water into the oil, if it sizzles it is ready.
Fry your catfish a couple minutes on each side, you want to look for a nice golden brown color. Drain the nuggets on a paper towel-lined plate before serving.
In a small bowl, mix all of the aioli ingredients together.
