This recipe was adapted by Chef Ben George
Yield: 2 Cups of Glaze
1 Cup of Honey Bourbon
1 Cup of Maple Syrup
2 oz Cup of low-sodium soy sauce
1T Lemon Juice
1T Worshire Sauce
1/2 Cup of Cafe Bustelo espresso coffee powder
1T of Honey
6 splashes of hot sauce
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a low simmer for 20 minutes.
Strain the sauce to get rid of espresso grounds
Place pan on medium heat and cook for another 10 minutes.
Keep warm until ready to serve.
I used my glaze on 1.61lb of flank steak marinated in !T Grapeseed oil, 2 Garlic Cloves, 2 Thyme sprig, and McCormick Steak Montreal Seasoning.
Toss with Olive oil, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt & pepper to taste, and roast for 20-30 in 400 degreed oven.
