I love my air fryer so much that I wanted to do an entire series of my favorite air fryer recipes. I make chicken wings the most so it is only appropriate to start of with my recipe for jerk chicken wings. Everything about this rub is adjustable, I've played around with this to find the perfect combo for me and I like them spicy. So adjust the spice as needed. You can put as much or as little to fit your taste buds. I have the Power Air Fryer XL and that is 5.3 Qt of cooking space.
Ingredients
1 1/2 T of onion powder
1 1/2 T of garlic powder
1 T of ground ginger
1 T of dried thyme
1 T of dried Rosemary
1 t of ground black pepper
½ T of cinnamon spice
1 T of ground all spice
1 T of Paprika
1 T of Salt
½ T ground nutmeg
2 -3 T brown sugar
2 T Chili pepper
2 T Red pepper flakes
2 T of minced scallion
12 Thawed Chicken Wings
Directions
Mix together all of the ingredients in a medium bowl.
Have your chicken wings in large bowl. Pour your spice mix over chicken and mix.
Cover and let the chicken sit for a day. (You can cook immediately if you desire, I just love to let the seasoning sit and marinate)
Place chicken wings in your air fryer I can fit 6-8 whole wings at a time depending on the size. I cook my chicken at 360 degrees for 20 minutes.
Enjoy!
Happy Planning :),
